JANUARY 2009The hawk now has two wings, the contrast between which adds to the dimensionality of the picture. Up till now it has been worked in mainly two dimensions, but now matures into the third.

Welcome to this blog, which is where I show my art work, which is mainly focused on birds and falconry. I work mainly in oils on portrait quality canvas, and use only top quality materials, i.e., those paints and oils which will not fade or discolour. Pencil and graphite are also featured, with a pencil work sometimes being made as the study for a more detailed work in colour.
